Very good lens for landscape photography

Very good product. Packaging was really good. Product serial number was mentioned in the invoice. Registered the product in Canon India website with the serial number. Image quality is really good.

Wonderful Canon 15-85 f3.5-5.6 IS USM Lens

Bought this lens recently at Rs. 50,000/- in Delhi and its a great lens, very sharp with good colours. The focusing is fast and smooth with almost negligible noise. Also 15-85 mm is a decent range for a good walk around lens. Other alternative for APS-C cameras is to buy the 17-55 f2.8 lens but that too is heavy and expensive.

Worth the price - Amazing sharpness - 15-85 mm lens

I was using a Tamron 18-270 lens as a walk around lens but was not satisfied with quality of the pictures. Sold the Tamron lens and got this one and have been using it for 4 months.As other canon lenses, it captures very sharp pictures and colors are very accurate. Focus is quick due to USM.Cons are its a bit heavy and expensiveIts a great walk around lens and completely satisfied.

best carry around lens for canon

Bought this to replace my 18-55mm kit lens for my canon 550d... awesome diwali offer from flipkart and got it at 12000 rs off for 46k. This is a near L quality carry around lens for canon crop sensors, covers a good range even at the wider end, awesome focussing with USM motor and ful time manual override.. Cons are it's a bit heavy and does not come with a lens hood, though 3rd party JJC hoods can be bought for 450 rs odd... The best all purpose lens IMO.
